The 2nd International Conference on Agriculture, Food Security, and Safety (AgroFood 2021) was organized by iConferences in collaboration with the University of Mysore, India. Due to the ongoing global circumstances at the time, the conference was conducted in a fully virtual format on January 15–16, 2021, ensuring accessibility for participants from around the world. Despite the challenges posed by the remote setting, AgroFood 2021 served as a dynamic and inclusive platform for academics, researchers, industry professionals, policymakers, and practitioners to engage in knowledge exchange and discussions on pressing global issues.
Under the theme “Global Food Security; Reality and Challenges,” the conference, chaired by Dr. Asna Urooj, featured discussions on critical issues related to sustainable agriculture, food safety, and security. The interactive online platform enabled participants to engage in live discussions, Q&A sessions, and virtual networking rooms, fostering global connections and multidisciplinary research partnerships. The conference proved to be an important milestone in continuing the dialogue on agriculture, food safety, and security, paving the way for future collaborations and impactful research in these crucial fields.
